As more emphasis is being place on personal appearances, many men have begun to utilize the same methods of hair removal that have been developed for women. Men will usually use these methods in different areas of their bodies, and the type of hair removal you choose will be dependant on the amount of hair you want removed and the area it is in.

Some men who face the prospect of going bald choose to remove their hair altogether rather than let it slowly fall out. Hair removal for this area is especially convenient in the summer time- bald spots burn very easily, and outside of never leaving the house without a hat, there is no prevention apart from removing your remaining hair and applying sunscreen. In the case of the head, there are a wide variety of treatments available. The easiest and most affordable is manual shaving, using an electric razor being the most efficient. Waxing and laser hair removal are also possibilities here, but if you can afford laser hair removal you should consider laser hair treatment.

Harder to reach areas where men experience hair growth are also the easiest and cheapest when it comes to hair removal. Nose and ear hairs can be plucked or tweezed, or, for those that are especially intolerant of pain, simply trimmed. Again, laser hair removal is a possibility, albeit an expensive one.

Men with hairy chests have two options. No one has ever said that hairy chest were unappealing, period. In fact, the right kind of hair (blond and tight curls) can be very appealing in terms of aesthetics and texture. In cases where there is no need for extreme hair removal, men may want to try simple landscaping in the form of plucking or trimming. Men that are heavily pelted, however, should remove the hair from the entire area, through a blanket treatment such as waxing. Don’t kid yourself, this will hurt. Laser surgery is again an expensive alternative.

Finally, if you are a man with a hairy back, there is no trimming option at all, it must all come off. You will need to bite the nail on the head either in terms of discomfort, and get a wax, or in your bank balance, and treat yourself to laser hair removal.

Remember that in almost all areas of hair removal there will be a need for at least a couple of treatments before the hair stops growing back. A general rule of thumb is that the more expensive or painful the treatment, the longer it will take the hair to grow back. In the case of laser hair removal, hair will usually stop growing back after about three treatments.
